In celebration of weddings!

This morning I snuggled in bed with my own Prince Charming and watched the Royal Wedding take place. It was a magical event and I loved watching every single minute of it. The love between the Prince and his bride was more than apparent and brought back such sweet memories of my own wedding... so if your heart is still fluttering from the lovely wedding this morning, I thought you might enjoy seeing pictures of my (much less extravagant, but just as beautiful) wedding nearly 7 years ago! (Wow!) And I indeed married a Prince! Love this guy!

the kiss!

the embarrassing giggle afterwards! :-)

one of my favorite shots...

this was actually my high-school prom dress:  re-purposed!

Isn't he handsome? He hasn't changed one bit in 7 years!

Loved this (gluten-FILLED) cake! It was beautiful! I still have a few of those starfish lingering in my freezer, I don't have the heart to throw them out! And  you have to love the Hardees cup in the background...

Michael -- the night before the big day... I love this!

Happy Royal Wedding Day everyone!
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

  1. These are lovely. Thank you for sharing.

On other news, I managed a whole week of soy-free lunchbox posts, though I cheated a bit by using a soy-free lunchbox from last Saturday for today's post. Plus I forgot to mention at all this week in any of the posts that this was soy-free lunchbox week. Total fail. That's why I get for writing posts too fast and/or when i am half asleep.Anyways, I did want to make sure to have some soy-free lunchbox inspiration for you. I did not eat any soy for 7+ years and missed tofu often.

  2. Been baking all day for the Farmer's Market tomorrow (not gonna make it to the allergy free expo, waaaa... next time.) So I didn't get to see the wedding. I don't watch much tv. I waste enough time on the computer! ;-) It was nice to see your pictures though how sweet!

  3. This makes me smile, Carrie! Thank you for sharing.

  4. How sweet! I love the idea of a wedding on the beach. :) The Royal Wedding was beautiful and romantic; it was so lovely to see a young couple in love. You're right, Kate's love and happiness was apparent and it made her beautiful inside and outside.

  5. Oh, so romantic. What beautiful wedding pictures.

  6. what lovely pictures of you and your darling! Thanks for sharing a different side of you.

  7. Hi, Carrie!
I can't wait to hear all about the Expo. I have never been to an event like that, and I can't think of a better narrator to tell about it than you!
I love your wedding pictures. Beautiful! My husband & I have been married for 13 years. I have known him for 19 years. I am 38. Half my life! (that was a recent realization)
I wish we had had a wedding on the beach. Love it!
