1. Gluten Free Walnut Dressing. This is a vegan/vegetarian stuffing/dressing I created several years ago. I've often used Enjoy Life Brown Rice Bread for stuffing, for some reason this bread REALLY works great for stuffing! It gives you a crunchy top, but soft (yet not soggy) middle! |

2. Elana's Pantry Cranberry Apple Stuffing. A perfect stuffing for those who need to watch the carbohydrate intake over the holidays. I think I will actually try this stuffing myself this year with Elana's Gluten Free Bread 2.0

3. Karina's Gluten Free Cornbread Stuffing with Maple Roasted Acorn Squash. Does this even need an explanation? A beautiful & ( I have no doubt) delicious stuffing option!

4. Elizabeth Barbone's step-by-step guide on How To Make The Best Gluten Free Stuffing. Need help making stuffing? I love Elizabeth's easy directions and helpful tips on cooking and baking gluten free.

5. For those looking for a vegetarian stuffing that's a little bit different, try out Ali's Wild Rice Stuffing. Full of pecans, cranberries, wild rice, and the traditional flavors of Thanksgiving.

Stuffing has always been the highlight of Thanksgiving for me, and I've made relatively the same one since I make my first turkey when I was 12. Last year, I used a loaf of Udi's but I think I'm going to try Elana's 2.0 paleo bread recipe. Love all these ideas!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE stuffing! I especially love it the next day when I mix in some cranberry sauce. Sweet and salty goodness. My mom makes a really good GF stuffing. I'll have to get the recipe from her and post it on my blog.
ReplyDeleteBowing my head in shame, I must admit I am not a stuffing fan. I do love to make it, though, and these pics are really enticing. I'm a semi-traditionalist with stuffing (which I don't stuff anymore, so I guess I should call it dressing) though I used gluten-free bread last year and may try an almond flour version this year. Don't tell my family.
ReplyDeleteI make a GF version of my Mom's stuffing. Green apples and sausage in addition to the celery and onions. SO GOOD!!! I use turkey broth--it makes all the difference, and as long as I don't use rice bread, no one knows the difference. They will go for it before the glutinous stuff that was baked instead of cooked inside the turkey!!
ReplyDeleteI just have to thank you!!! The bread and the stuffing were SO INCREDIBLE!!! My five Y/O son went back for three helpings!!! The ENTIRE family LOVED it! It is for sure going to be a tradition now! My oldest daughter has ADHD and gluten exacerbates her symptoms, so this was a god-send!!!
ReplyDeleteI love stuffing! Thanks for the easy links, these are great options.
