I don't have any of my recipes up yet, but mine is a New England theme (Go Patriots!). I'll be serving Clam Chowder, Wings with a Maple Syrup glaze, Boston Baked Beans, Brie with Cranberry Chutney, Cape Cod Potato Chips, and if I feel motivated to make them, crab-stuffed mushrooms. Oh, and I'll probably have a veggie platter too to be healthy. I have lots of people coming over.
ReplyDeleteOh man Karen!! YOU MUST BLOG about these recipes!!! YUMMY girl!! I really want to see that Brie with cranberry chutney! Sounds like you are going to have one fabulous party!! I can't wait to see your recipes!!
ReplyDeleteokay Carrie, here's the Brie with cranberry Chutney: take brie, dump jar of cranberry chutney over top (Stonewall Kitchen's is GF), nuke in microwave until it starts to get gooey. Serve with GF crackers. :)
ReplyDeleteYippee! I've been racking my brain trying to think what to eat! New ideas, thanks!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great list of yummy treats. Thanks for rounding them up! Personally, I'm going shopping on Superbowl Sunday!
ReplyDeleteGreat round up! I am sure you will help a lot of people figure out what to make for snacks.
ReplyDeleteI am having the in-laws over, so I am going fancy...rack of lamb, light Greek salad, stuffed mushrooms, and black moons (whoopie pies) or cheescake for dessert.
what are you doing?
SM -- I have to admit I've never had a superbowl party before, but we're going to this year! Nothing fancy! My mom and pop in law will be over and they won't eat fancy stuff anyway, so I'll be making chicken wings and some dips for tortilla chips, I would love to try my hand at some pita bread! I'll also make an artichoke dip (although I'll probably be the only one eating it! lol) I think I will also make some of the Pioneer Woman's stuffed bacon jalapeno thingies as well! ;-P
ReplyDeleteBTW "You have been tagged!" :) You can read the post on my site.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the inclusion in your appetite-teasing round-up!
ReplyDeleteGladly Karina! All of your recipes are so wonderful!! You are the "go to girl" for tried and true yumminess!!!
